Mark A Smith

Mark A Smith has extensive experience in radio broadcasting, with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as the Operations Manager for Magic at MediaWorks NZ since October 2008, Mark oversees the network's programming and promotional campaigns. Previous roles include Assistant Program Director at The Sound and similar positions at Solid Gold Network and Coromandel FM, where responsibilities encompassed day-to-day operations, staffing, and on-air hosting. Mark's experience also includes freelance work and roles at More FM Auckland, where Mark A functioned as a Music Director. Mark's education includes qualifications from Palmerston North Boys High and Linton Camp Military School.
