Greg Gokavi-Whaley

Greg Gokavi-Whaley has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role being Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Medibank since October 2021. Prior to that, they had extensive experience at ANZ, starting in 2002. Their roles at ANZ included Strategic Risk Oversight for ANZ Global Operations, where they developed a new risk approach and capability and led strategic reviews of the risk portfolio. Greg also served as the ANZ Global Wealth Risk Chief Operating Officer, responsible for enterprise risk and compliance programs. Additionally, they held positions as Head of Risk, Compliance and Quality Operations at ANZ Private Bank and ANZ Trustees, Manager of New Product Development for Financial Institution Products, and Senior Risk & New Product Governance Manager for Working Capital. Greg began their career as a Project Manager in the technology field.

Greg Gokavi-Whaley has a Bachelor's degree in Politics and Modern History obtained from Murdoch University in 1994. Greg later pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Queensland between 2004 and 2006. Greg also obtained a certification in Masters of Business Administration from the University of Queensland/Mt Eliza Business School in 2007.
