Meenakshi Jhala

Meenakshi is a fourth-year medical student at St. George’s University of London, currently intercalating in Neuroscience and Psychiatry. She has a keen interest in Medical Education and encouraging students to get involved with research to become well-rounded clinicians. Alongside being published in the BMC Medical Education Journal, Meenakshi is in the process of examining the impact of asynchronous communication platforms on the healthcare system, after having completed an internship on the project.

Being a Clinical Skills Tutor and an Anatomy Demonstrator, Meenakshi actively looks to help students out, and having also been on the committees of the Henry Gray Anatomical Society and OSCE Society, she has assisted many students in their academic progress of medical school. Moreover, she is an NHS Health Education Ambassador and has also attended events, via St. George’s University of London, to increase applications and widen participation for health care associated courses.
