Emmanuel Kitsao

Kitsao has vast knowledge in Health Informatics with his main interests revolving around open source technology, value-added ICT4D and predictive analytics to solve societal challenges. Prior to Medic, he worked at the University of Maryland (CIHEB) in Kenya as a HMIS Specialist to operationalize the program's health informatics agenda and enhance Data Demand and Information Use (DDIU), where he drove EMR Systems and data warehouse implementation. Before that, he worked as an information systems developer at @iLabAfrica, a research centre at Strathmore University where he led the development of various systems for the Ministry of Health in Kenya. Kitsao is a Business Information Technology graduate from Strathmore University and Actuarial Science graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
