Jerry Melgar

Jerry Melgar has extensive experience in sales and business development within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Director of Sales for Government Programs at Medica since April 2015, Jerry is responsible for managing sales performance, new producer recruitment, and establishing strategic partnerships for Medicare and Individual and Family Business. Prior to this role, Jerry managed a regional sales team at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN from April 2008 to April 2015, where responsibilities included driving sales and developing growth strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as an Account Executive at UnitedHealthcare, focusing on the Small Business market. Jerry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management from Concordia University-St. Paul.
