Alexandru Artimon

Alexandru Artimon has over twelve years of experience in software engineering, product strategy and design, data science, product marketing and IT consulting. In 2007, they began working at Development Gateway as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead for the Aid Management Platform. During their time there they were responsible for software design and architecture, releasing new versions, merging code from other branches, validating code written by other developers, and leading platform re-engineering. Alexandru also had field work experience in six countries.

In 2014, Alexandru began working as an IT Consultant for the United Nations OCHA Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX). In 2018, they co-founded Medicai and became its CTO.

Since 2015, Alexandru has been the Co-founder and Managing Partner at Atta Systems (formerly AB4 Systems). At Atta Systems, they help big organizations and funded startups develop meaningful software products for their audiences. Alexandru specializes in product strategy and design, data science, software engineering, and product marketing.

Alexandru Artimon's education history includes a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, obtained between 2009 and 2011. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Science from the same university, obtained between 2004 and 2009. Alexandru's educational background began with a Mathematics/Informatics degree from Colegiul National "Stefan cel Mare", Suceava, obtained between 2000 and 2004. Alexandru also holds an Oracle Academic Initiative Certification from Oracle.
