Srivats S.

Srivats S. is an experienced Research and Development Scientist currently employed at Medical 21, Inc. since May 2020, focusing on biomaterial manufacturing, material chemistry, and the design and testing of cardiovascular devices. Prior to this role, Srivats held various positions at the University of Iowa, including Graduate Research Assistant, where work involved detecting oxygenator blockages in ECMO circuits and developing novel methods for measuring cardiac output. Srivats also completed a Master's thesis on the development of biopolymers for pulmonary heart valve prostheses and gained experience as a student intern at Stempeutics Research Pvt. Ltd. Srivats holds both a PhD and a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from PES University.
