Robert Wheat

Robert Wheat currently serves as the Interim Chief Operations Officer at Medical Advocacy and Outreach (MAO) since January 2022, while also holding the position of Compliance Advisor at the same organization since June 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Regional Care Organization Manager at the Alabama Medicaid Agency from December 2016 to July 2022 and as the Director of Financial Operations at the Alabama Department of Public Health from November 2010 to July 2022. Robert Wheat holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science from Auburn University. Additionally, Robert completed training as a Medical Service Specialist at the USAF School of Health Care Sciences.
