Samuel Karpel has been General Counsel to Medical Billing Wholesalers since 2012. Mr. Karpel counsels MBW on a wide range of legal matters, including, compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), compliance with regulatory rules and laws, and the drafting of service contracts and business associate agreements.
In addition, in private practice, Mr. Karpel represents businesses in litigation matters before state and federal courts, including cases involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, and business torts.
Mr. Karpel received a B.A. in 2003 from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received a J.D. in 2006 from New England School of Law in Boston. Mr. Karpel is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
