Joni Williams

Joni Williams is a highly experienced academic and researcher, currently serving as Director and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin since January 2017, following a role as Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina from August 2008 to January 2017. Notable responsibilities include conducting clinical research, teaching, and mentoring, as well as presenting at various professional conferences. Previously, Joni managed significant projects related to diabetes intervention and served as a post-doctoral scholar, contributing to NIH and DOD-funded studies. Joni began the professional journey as a Health Educator at Fox Chase Cancer Center and has a robust educational background with an MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, an MPH from Drexel University, and a BS in Biology from the University of South Carolina.
