Mary Ellen Stanek

Ms. Stanek is currently Managing Director and Director of Asset Management for Robert W. Baird & Co., an institutional investment management organization with nearly $15 billion in assets under management. Additionally she serves as President of the Baird Funds. Previously, she served as President and CEO of Firstar Investment Research & Management Company.

Ms. Stanek is a member of The CFA Institute; the CFA Society of Milwaukee; the Greater Milwaukee Committee (Chair); Milwaukee 7 (Co-Chair); Tempo (past President); and Professional Dimensions.

She serves on the boards of Robert W. Baird & Co.; Journal Communications (NYSE:JRN); Northwestern Mutual; West Bend Mutual Insurance Company; Aurora Health Care; Boys and Girls Clubs (past Board Chair); Children's Hospital Foundation; Marquette University (Emeritus); Medical College of Wisconsin; Junior Achievement; and United Way. She has co-chaired annual campaigns for the United Performing Arts Fund and the United Way.

Ms. Stanek holds an MBA degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a magna cum laude graduate of Marquette University, where she won election to the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society.
