Patricia Steinert

Patricia Steinert, PhD, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Patricia currently holds two positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin, starting in January 2022. Patricia serves as the Executive Scientific Director for Policy and Governance at the Center for International Blood & Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) and also as an Associate Professor of Medicine. Previously, they were the Executive Director of CIBMTR from October 2013. Prior to that, they worked as the CIBMTR Administrator at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 2006 to 2013. Patricia began their career at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine as an Assistant Dean for Informatics from 1989 to 1992.

Dr. Patricia Steinert holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they completed from 1978 to 1982. Patricia obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago between 1984 and 1987. In 2013, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
