Brian Jackson has extensive work experience in the field of technology. Brian started their career at Telesat Canada in 1989, where they held various roles including Programmer Analyst, Project Leader, IT Project Manager, and Application Development Manager. In 2016, they joined the Medical Council of Canada and worked as an IT Manager, Interim Information Technology Director, and currently serves as the Director of Business Technology.
Brian Jackson's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained from 1984 to 1988. Brian also holds a Master's Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, acquired from 2004 to 2005. Brian has further pursued executive education, completing a Leadership program in 2018 and a Strategy program in 2019, both from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
