Towanda Underdue possesses extensive experience in the performing arts and education sectors, currently serving in various national leadership roles within SAG-AFTRA since October 2013, including National Chair of the Healthcare Safety Net Committee and National Board Member. Towanda also holds the position of National Vice Chair of the EDI-SJ Committee with the Association of SP Educators and works as an EDI Educational Consultant for the MPATHIC Project at Medical Cyberworlds, Inc. Additionally, Towanda is an SP Education Specialist at Johns Hopkins University and has been actively involved in the Standardized Patient Project, alongside a successful career as an actress, producer, and voiceover artist since 1998. Educational background includes studies at Towson University and Baltimore Polytechnic Institute.
