Winston Porter

Mr. Porter, founder and President of Medical Development Corp, has developed, managed, and owned numerous health care properties throughout the Southeast. He was one of the founders of the "NIC Conference" on senior housing, which later developed into the National Center for Senior Housing & Care Industry. Today, NIC is the leading authority for senior statistical information in the United States.

In addition to senior housing, Mr. Porter has also been involved in the development of several award-winning Hilton and Marriott hotels. His expertise allows him to bring the aspect of high-quality hospitality into his senior housing communities. Mr. Porter is a non-practicing CPA and began his career with Coopers and Lybrand.

He earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from Duke University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
