Alyssa Desgranges-Ellett, JD has extensive legal experience. Alyssa began their career in 2008 as a Lead Student Assistant at The Johnson Center for Philanthropy, Grand Valley State University. In 2009, they were a Legal Intern at the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Law Clerk and then a Legal Fellow at Disability Rights Texas and the Equal Justice America. During this time, they assisted attorneys with advocating for clients' rights and conducted legal research and analysis for motions, temporary restraining orders, and complaints. From 2012 to 2015, they were an Associate Attorney at Lee Murphy Law Firm where they managed the Medical Record Audit Department and facilitated several high volume pharmaceutical litigation settlement dockets. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Associate Attorney and then a Senior Associate Attorney at Stotler Hayes Group, LLC (formerly Burgeon Legal Group). During this time, they provided multi-state jurisdiction legal representation to national and regional long-term care and skilled nursing facilities and administered legal guidance to corporate healthcare providers. In 2021, they began their current role as Associate Counsel and Compliance Officer at Medical Informatics Corp. In this role, they provide legal counsel to company and departmental leadership on business, employment, and regulatory matters, maintains all company policies and processes to maintain a regulated Quality System, and identifies areas of process improvement across company functions.

Alyssa Desgranges-Ellett, JD has a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston, which they obtained in 2013. Alyssa also holds a Bachelor's Degree from Grand Valley State University, which they obtained in 2010. Her Bachelor's Degree is in Legal Studies, with minors in Criminal Justice and Spanish. Additionally, Alyssa is licensed with the State Bar of Michigan (2020), The Colorado Bar Association (2018), and the State Bar of Texas (2013).
