Katie Jefferson has extensive experience in library services and public health, currently serving as the Library Services Liaison and Emergent Technologies Coordinator at the University of Nevada School of Medicine since October 2013. In this role, Katie also coordinates Library Health Outreach Services and is actively involved with the Medical Library Association and the American Public Health Association as a member. Previous positions include Residential Life Coordinator and Assistant General Manager at American Campus Communities, where responsibilities encompassed conflict resolution, staff development, and operations management. Additionally, as Client Care Coordinator at Home Instead Senior Care, Katie contributed to Alzheimer’s and Dementia training programs. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Social and Behavioral Health and a Bachelor's in Community Health Sciences, both from the University of Nevada, Reno.
