Ken Walz

Ken Walz currently serves as the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at Medical Metrics, Inc. since September 2025, while also holding the position of Principal at Eaton Square since May 2020. In addition, Ken has been a Reviewer for the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) since May 2014, evaluating applications for Maryland Innovation Initiative funding. Previously, Ken co-founded and was a Partner at Popper and Company LLC, where responsibilities included structuring collaborations, negotiating agreements, and financial modeling from June 2003 to October 2025. Ken's earlier experience includes roles as VP of Commercial Development at MDS Proteomics from 2000 to 2003 and Manager of BD Gene at Becton Dickinson from April 1990 to September 2000. Ken holds a Master of Science in Finance from Loyola University Maryland (1987-1990) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (1982-1986).
