Susan Edwards

Susan Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Susan currently holds the position of Director of Organizational Development & Culture at Medical Mutual since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of People Services at the same company since January 2014.

Before joining Medical Mutual, Susan worked at Help Me Grow of Cuyahoga County from November 2007 to January 2014, where they held the role of Human Resources & Outreach.

Susan also has experience as a Human Resource Consultant with their own business from 2002 to 2011. During the same period, they worked as a Certified Associate at Lee Hecht Harrison, where they assisted organizations during reorganization and downsizing, as well as individuals with job search techniques and career decisions.

Earlier in their career, Susan served as the Director of Human Resources, North America at Fitch from 2000 to 2002. Susan also worked as a Career Consultant at Bank One in 2000, providing in-house outplacement services for displaced employees.

Susan's career began at Chase (Bank One) in 1994 as an Assistant Vice President of Marketing & Advertising, where they held the position until 2000.

Susan Edwards attended Shawnee State University from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General. Susan then went on to study at Morehead State University from 1986 to 1988, earning a degree in Communications with a specialization in Journalism and Public Relations.
