Christer Backman

Christer Backman has extensive experience in the legal and regulatory fields, having served as the International and EU coordinator at the Medical Products Agency Läkemedelsverket since 1994, following a tenure in the legal department and as Head of Regulatory Administration. Previously, Christer Backman owned Juristfirman Christer Backman AB and held the position of Executive Director at Wasa Finans AB, focusing on financial leasing and business law matters. Earlier career roles include serving as a bank lawyer at Swedbank, as a district lawyer at Driftsbyrån, LRF, and as a court clerk at Falu tingsrätt. Christer Backman holds a law degree from Uppsala University, obtained in 1977.
