Mats Welin

Mats Welin has extensive experience at Läkemedelsverket, where Mats has served since January 1988, holding positions such as Scientific Director in Biotechnology, Senior Expert, and Pharmaceutical Assessor. As a Senior Expert, Mats possesses both strong scientific knowledge and regulatory competence, effectively communicating complex information to various stakeholders. Mats has also acted as the head of the Division of Biotechnology, contributing to the assessment and regulation of biotech products. Mats obtained a Master of Science in Pharmacy from Uppsala University between 1983 and 1987 and completed secondary education at Bessemergymnasiet in Sandviken from 1977 to 1980.
