Chris Townsend FCIPD serves as the Director of Learning and People Development at the Medical Research Network since February 2022, following the organization's significant global growth. Previously, Chris held the role of Learning and Development Manager at Midas Group Ltd from September 2017 to February 2022, where responsibilities included implementing structured training approaches, maximizing apprenticeship funding, and establishing the organization as an Approved Training Organisation. Prior experience includes managing the Education department at St Peter's Hospice, working as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant at Buro Happold, serving as a Project Manager at NHS- Gloucestershire, and functioning as a Training Officer at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites. Chris holds an MA in Human Resources Management from the University of the West of England and a BA in Business Studies & HR from London South Bank University.
