Elyse Moore

Elyse Moore is currently an MD PhD Candidate at the Medical University of South Carolina since July 2023, following a Post Baccalaureate IRTA Fellowship at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke from June 2021 to June 2023. Elyse gained foundational research experience as an Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant at Virginia Tech School of Neuroscience, conducting experiments and contributing to published figures. Additional clinical exposure includes shadowing neurosurgeons and neurologists at Novant Health, offering insights into various aspects of neuroscience practice. Elyse also held management and operations responsibilities during an internship at Victory Farm and developed communication and organizational skills as a Barn Assistant at Lenux Stables. Elyse earned a Neuroscience degree from Virginia Tech, complemented by minors in French and Medicine and Society.
