Tara Hart

Tara Hart is an experienced genetic counselor and educator with a diverse background in clinical training and education. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Training at the Medical University of South Carolina, Tara previously held positions as Supervisor at Bay Path University's Simulated Patient Clinic and Adjunct Faculty at Keck Graduate Institute. Tara's extensive experience at GeneDx includes roles such as Assistant Director of Postgraduate Education, Lead Cardiovascular Genetic Counselor, and Senior Genetic Counselor, where Tara directed educational programs and managed teams. As a faculty member in the National Human Genome Research Institute's residency and fellowship training program, Tara revitalized training regimes for medical geneticists. Tara holds a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology from Connecticut College.
