Tim Adams

Tim Adams, MD, MBA, serves as Chief of Practice Operations for MUSC Community Physicians and Associate Chief Physician in the Affiliate Network at the Medical University of South Carolina since March 2020. Previously, Tim Adams held the role of President and Chief Medical Officer at Epix Healthcare, leading expansion and management for over 300 clinicians across multiple states from January 2016 to March 2020. As Co-Founder and President of PhySynergy, Tim Adams contributed to rapid organizational growth from March 2012 to January 2016. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Nashville General Hospital and Tennova Healthcare as Chief of Anesthesiology, along with a significant track record at Crestwood Medical Center and Alabama Anesthesia of Huntsville. Tim Adams holds an M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia, an MBA from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a B.S. in Biology from Washington and Lee University.
