Amy Frank has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amy started their career as an Emergency Veterinary Technician at Golf Rose Animal Hospital in 1995 and worked there until 2004. In 1997, they joined Abbott as a Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician and later became a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Analyst. At Abbott, they were responsible for analyzing and designing software applications, authoring validation test strategies, executing test protocols, and supporting the LIMS international software help desk. Amy then joined REC1 in 2014 as a Project Manager, where they worked until 2017. During their time at REC1, they held multiple roles including CivicREC Project Manager and later became the CivicREC Product Owner. In 2017, they joined CivicPlus as the CivicREC Product Owner and subsequently became the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Medicus IT in 2019.

Amy Frank attended Regina Dominican High School from 1989 to 1993. Amy then went on to The University of Georgia, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cellular Biology from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Amy Frank also obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum.org in June 2017.
