Susan Ruffalo

Susan Ruffalo is an experienced business development leader currently serving as Managing Partner for Global Business Development at Medidata Solutions since June 2023. Previously, Susan held the position of Global Vice President of Business Development at OwnBackup from May 2020 to November 2022, where the company became recognized as the #1 SaaS Data Protection platform for Salesforce, Microsoft, and ServiceNow ecosystems. Between June 2018 and April 2020, Susan was the Vice President of Sales at Gympass, managing US B2B sales for a leading corporate wellness startup. With over two decades of experience at IBM, Susan held various leadership roles including Enterprise Sales Leader for Watson Customer Engagement and Director of Systems Middleware Sales. Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management, graduating Cum Laude from Pace University.
