Richard Butler

Richard Butler has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Richard most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Medihive since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the CFO at Elkstone from February 2020 to October 2020. From 2017 to 2020, they held the CFO position at CustomerMinds and Versari. Richard served as an Executive Director at SportsCarver from April 2014 to July 2017. Richard also worked as a Member at CA Interim Managers Ireland from December 2012 to July 2017. Richard held the role of Finance & Commercial Director at RSM Ireland from June 2013 to April 2014, and handled a Finance Systems implementation project at Swrve from October 2012 to May 2013. Richard served as the Finance Director at ByrneWallace from June 2011 to September 2012. Richard began their career in 2007 as the CFO at McEvoy Partners, where they focused on realignment and business changes.

Richard Butler completed a Diploma in IFRS from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2012-2013. In 2011, they studied Mediation & Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at Mediation Forum Ireland. From 1989 to 1993, Richard pursued a B.Comm and M.Acc in Accountancy from University College Dublin. Additionally, they obtained the FCA certification from Chartered Accountants Ireland in 1996. Richard also holds an Accredited Mediator certificate from Mediation Forum Ireland.
