Tadena Simpson

Tadena Simpson serves as the Assistant General Counsel at Elixir since August 2016, following roles as Assistant Counsel at Altegra Health and as an Attorney in Compliance at CIGNA Dental. At Altegra Health, responsibilities included complex legal research related to Medicare/Medicaid regulations, drafting and reviewing contracts, and collaborating with HR on employment law matters. At CIGNA, Tadena focused on ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, guiding product development, and managing legal correspondence with regulatory agencies. Prior positions include a Litigation Law Clerk at The Employment Law Group, where duties involved supporting litigation processes, and additional legal roles that covered transactional analysis and claims resolution. Tadena holds a Juris Doctorate from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Duke University.
