Gabriele Villa

Gabriele Villa is the current Director at Mediobanca. Prior to this, Villa served as a Board Member at Pairstech Capital Management LLP from October 2016 to December 2019. Before that, Villa was the Direttore Business Development e Capital Markets at Directa Sim from July 2013 to July 2021, where they were responsible for managing the company's international development across all different asset classes. Villa has 12 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on cash equity and derivatives products. They have been instrumental in leading the business development with global Exchanges and MTFs. Reporting directly to the CEO, Villa was also in charge of analyzing and implementing all strategic opportunities across the International business. Prior to their work at Directa Sim, Villa worked at a financial brokerage company called Directa that was founded in 1995 to allow private investors to trade financial instruments electronically.

Gabriele Villa has completed an Executive Management Programme at the London Business School, an Evening Executive Master in Corporate Finance at SDA Bocconi, and a Postgraduate Course of Corporate and Financial Advisory at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Gabriele also holds a Degree in Financial Intermediaries from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
