Paolo Carta

Paolo Carta is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in interest rates and inflation trading. Currently serving as an Interest Rates and Inflation Trader at Mediobanca since March 2013, Paolo focuses on sell-side IR and inflation client business, providing hedging solutions for corporate clients and structured products for institutional investors. Previously, Paolo held the role of Executive Director and Head of Interest Rates Quantitative Research at Mediobanca London from March 2010 to March 2013, where responsibilities included interest rates and inflation modeling and the development of a pricing library for derivatives. Paolo's career began at RBS Global Banking & Markets from August 2004 to March 2010 as an Associate in Interest Rates Exotics and Inflation Quant, specializing in modeling and implementation for exotic products. Educational credentials include multiple degrees from Università Bocconi and a degree from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
