Saumesh Dutta

Saumesh Dutta is currently serving as Vice President at Mediobanca since April 2024. Previously, Dutta worked at Citi from February 2015 to March 2024 as Assistant Vice President in European Interest Rate Strategy, focusing on relative value analysis of European Government bonds and macroeconomic developments. Prior experience includes an Assistant Manager role at the Royal Bank of Scotland from June 2011 to February 2015, where Dutta gained expertise in investor behavior and rating methodologies related to SSAs and covered bonds. Early career experience includes a position as Associate Consultant at Brainmatics Solutions from June 2010 to May 2011. Dutta holds an Integrated Masters in Economics specializing in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and completed an Accelerated General Management Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in March 2023.
