Sean O'Brien

Sean O'Brien is currently the Chief Data Officer of Mediolanum Irish Operations, where they are responsible for driving strategic growth and monetization of the data practice. Previously, they served as the co-founder and CEO of Coldstart, a data and AI startup focused on personal data privacy. Sean successfully secured over $2 million in funding and led a team of 10 employees. Prior to that, Sean was the Head of Enterprise Data and AI at LoyaltyOne, where they led the data, AI, and intelligence products practice. Sean also has experience as the Director of Analytics & Research at MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment), where they led the strategic development and execution of MLSE's enterprise data strategy, and as a Data Scientist in various roles.

Sean O'Brien completed their education with a Master of Management Analytics degree from Queen's University, which they pursued from the year 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts and Honors (BAH) in Economics and Applied Math from Queen's University, completing their studies in 2009.
