Ruth Shepherd

Ruth Shepherd has over a decade of procurement experience, currently serving as Head of Procurement at Mediq UK since July 2013, where previous roles included Procurement Manager and Senior Buyer focusing on wound care. Prior experience includes positions as Strategic Buyer encompassing various categories such as Ward consumables and Incontinence at Mediq UK, and Senior Buyer at Thermo Fisher Scientific from June 2009 to June 2013. Additional roles include Buyer at Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Procurement Officer at St Helens Council, and Purchasing Assistant at Prysmian Group. Ruth Shepherd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Liverpool John Moores University, completed in 2008.
