Thomas W. has a strong background in technical operations, cloud operations, and DevOps engineering. Thomas is currently the Director of Technical Operations at MediSpend, where they have been working since January 2022. Prior to that, Thomas held the position of Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer at the same company, starting in September 2020.

Before joining MediSpend, Thomas worked as Sr. DevOps Engineer at Athlinks, a Life Time company, from December 2019 to September 2020. Thomas also had a brief stint as a DevOps Engineer at Radar from September 2019 to November 2019.

Thomas gained extensive experience in DevOps and Linux systems engineering during their tenure at CrownPeak, where they served as Sr. DevOps Lead/Sr. Linux Systems Engineer from September 2015 to August 2019. Thomas further honed their skills as a Sr. Linux Systems Engineer at QuadraNet from November 2013 to July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Thomas worked as an IT Support Engineer at Biodiscovery from June 2010 to December 2012. Thomas also served as a Linux Systems Administrator at Hydra from February 2009 to September 2009. Thomas'sfirst job in the field was as an MIS Technician at Sierra Pacific Engineering & Products from March 2001 to January 2004.

Thomas W. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from California State University-Dominguez Hills, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2010 to 2012. In addition, Thomas has an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from El Camino College, which they achieved from 2005 to 2008. Thomas also holds an AS degree in Computer Information Systems from ITT Technical Institute, obtained from 2004 to 2006. Thomas has further certifications, including "Developing on AWS" from AWS and "DevOps Engineering on AWS" from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
