Mohamed Rashed has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mohamed started their career at Aramex in 2000, where they worked as a Customer Service Team Member, focusing on selling transportation solutions and maintaining existing accounts. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at Maghrabi Optical as an Area Product Specialist, responsible for preparing supplier lists, updating product matrices, and developing product profiles for stores.
Mohamed then moved to Identity Advertising in 2004, where they initially served as an Account Executive, acting as a liaison between clients and agency departments. Later, they were promoted to Senior Account Manager, gaining a deep understanding of clients' products and market objectives.
In 2009, Mohamed joined Digital Workshop as an Events Director, overseeing event management and coordination. Mohamed then transitioned into a role as a Business Development Director and Acting General Manager, responsible for managing all agency departments, preparing business development documents, and delivering high-level presentations.
In 2012, Mohamed joined SAIB Bank as Deputy Corporate Communications Manager, where they developed and managed integrated marketing strategies, executed communication plans, and facilitated partnerships and sponsorship deals. Mohamed also ensured compliance with communication standards and evaluated campaign effectiveness through data analysis.
From 2016 to 2019, Mohamed returned to Digital Workshop as a Business Development Director and Acting General Manager. Mohamed was responsible for setting annual business plans, preparing financial modeling and analyses, and delivering presentations to key stakeholders.
In 2019, Mohamed worked as an Independent Marketing Communication Consultant, conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, preparing proposals and marketing plans, and advising on branding and communication. Mohamed also worked with Tabi3y Farm and Misr Language Schools, where they conducted situational and competitive analyses, developed digital marketing strategies, and launched new websites and mobile applications.
Most recently, Mohamed joined Mediterraneo in 2022 as the Head of Marketing & Communications, overseeing all marketing and communication activities for the company.
Mohamed Rashed obtained a Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications from AUC - School of Continuing Education in the year 2010. In the past, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Misr Language School, which they completed between 1991 and 1995. Mohamed also holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from Modern Academy in Maadi. Most recently, in 2020, Mohamed earned a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CanCham).
