Dr. Craig Bythewood earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at Howard University, majoring in Finance. Subsequently, he attended the University of Florida where he received his doctorate in finance and economics at the age of 26. He has been a professor for 30 years. He has also been a consultant for several Fortune 500 firms, a popular and effective seminar speaker, and a financial planner for many. Dr. Bythewood's consulting experiences have included Hewlett Packard, JPMorgan Chase and the State of Florida. He also served as the Financial Education Director for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He is affectionately known by former clients and students is a high energy communicator with the ability to motivate. As a business consultant, he has the ability to recognize company strengths, initiating positive thinking and effective changes in business strategy.
On a personal note, for four straight years he participated as the annual co-host for ABCs telecast of the St. Pete MLK Parade, which is currently the largest in the nation. He was also the 2007 first place award recipient of the National Hallmark Daddy Dance Off Contest. He owns a life-coaching business where he places a premium focus on teaching, counseling and helping others to living an existence of spiritual wholeness. He is a single father of three daughters that are 21, 19 and 18, and he coached their high school and AAU travel basketball teams. He also plays flag football in an 18 and over A league where he proclaims is the new 26!
