Omar Abuadas Blanco

Omar AbuAdas Blanco is an experienced healthcare professional with a focus on genomics and molecular diagnostics. Currently serving as the Director of Genomics at MedLabs Consultancy Group since September 2023, Omar has also held the position of Commercial Director, Vice President, and Founder at Victory Genomics since January 2020. Prior roles include General Director at The Genome Outpost, Program Development Associate in the Pediatrics Genomics Discovery Program at Yale School of Medicine, and Visiting Scholar at Yale New Haven Hospital. Omar's earlier experience includes strategic roles at Centogene AG, Mount Sinai Health System, and Barts Health NHS Trust, alongside foundational work in project management for rapid diagnostics at Jordan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers. Omar AbuAdas Blanco holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. Matthew's University, an MSc in Molecular Diagnostics from the University of Nottingham, and a BSc in Molecular Medicine and Biochemistry from the University of Essex.
