Joely Gardner

Joely Gardner, PhD, is a seasoned expert in usability testing and customer experience research, currently serving as both Chief User Researcher and a usability testing expert at Human Factors Research since January 2001. Joely specializes in medical device testing, early-stage research, and delivering actionable insights to enhance product consumer acceptance. Concurrently, Joely is a Customer Engagement Advisor at MedlyticsAi, facilitating seamless communication within health data systems. As a professor at Cal State Fullerton, Joely educates on the value of user experience design in organizations. Past roles include Education Program Chair at SDRAN and board member of ASQ, contributing to educational strategies and member experiences. Joely’s academic background includes a Doctorate in Cognitive Science from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Simmons College.
