Ana Varela

Ana Varela has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Ana is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at MedMutual Protect since 2022. Prior to this, Ana worked at Kemper as the VP, Chief Financial Officer for Kemper Health from 2020 to 2022 and as the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis from 2018 to 2020. Before joining Kemper, Ana held various roles at Ritchie Bros. from 2016 to 2018, including US/LATAM Director of Financial Planning and Director of Finance for Emerging Business, Brand, and Technology Services. Ana also gained experience at Aramark as a Strategy and Financial Planning and Analysis Consultant for Global Projects from 2014 to 2016 and at OfficeMax as a Strategy Consultant from 2012 to 2014. Ana worked at Aramark earlier in their career as the Sr Director of Strategic Development from 2011 to 2011, Director of Business and Strategic Development from 2008 to 2011, and Sr Financial Analyst from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they have experience as a Finance Manager at Verluz SRL (HD Iluminacion) from 2003 to 2004, as a Senior Financial Analyst at Telefónica from 1999 to 2002, and as an Analyst at Citibank NA from 1996 to 1999.

Ana Varela graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in Lic en Administracion, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Ana later attended Purdue University Daniels School of Business, pursuing an MBA with a focus on Finance.
