Ajay Srivastava

Ajay Srivastava, MD, FASN has a diverse work experience in the field of nephrology. Ajay currently holds the position of Senior Vice President (Nephrology) in the Medical Department at Medpace, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President (Nephrology) at Medpace from March 2022 to March 2023. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Senior Medical Director (Nephrology), and before that, they held the role of Medical Director (Nephrology) from January 2019 to March 2020.

Before joining Medpace, Dr. Srivastava worked at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where they held multiple roles from 2015 to 2019. Ajay served as an Interventional Nephrologist from September 2016 to September 2019 and as an Associate Professor Of Medicine from December 2015 to September 2019. Ajay also worked as the Director of the Nephrology Fellowship Program from July 2017 to June 2019.

In addition, Dr. Srivastava served as the Medical Director - DCI Forest Park at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. from July 2017 to March 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Medical Director - DaVita [Dialysis Center of Middle GA] at DaVita Inc. from October 2012 to November 2015.

Dr. Srivastava's career also includes positions at Mercer University School of Medicine, where they served as the Division Chief, Nephrology from April 2012 to November 2015. Ajay was also an Assistant Professor Of Medicine from November 2010 to November 2015 and briefly served as the Interim Chairman of Medicine from August 2014 to November 2014. Before that, they worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from January 2009 to August 2010.

To start their career, Dr. Srivastava worked as a Nephrologist in private practice at AMARILLO NEPHROLOGY ASSOCIATES, PA from August 2008 to August 2010.

Throughout their various roles, Dr. Srivastava has gained extensive experience in the field of nephrology, specializing in interventional nephrology and renal diseases.

Ajay Srivastava, MD, FASN completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Rochester from 1992 to 1996. Ajay then pursued their Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 1998 to 2003. Following this, they completed their Internal Medicine Residency Program from 2003 to 2006 at the University of Rochester. Subsequently, they underwent a Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Rochester from 2006 to 2008.
