Lemeko Starks

Lemeko Starks, RHIT, is an experienced Health Information Management (HIM) professional with a robust background in consulting and coding. Currently serving as an HIM Consultant since October 2018, Lemeko Starks has also held a Senior HIM Consultant position at Oxford HIM since September 2012 and an HIM Consultant role at MedPartners since 2015, focusing on DRG validation and auditing. Prior experience includes working as an ICD-10 Clinical Analyst at FEPOC from 2012 to 2013 and as a Coder at PHNS from 2006 to 2009. Lemeko Starks holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration from Davenport University, completed in 2019, and has foundational education from Schoolcraft College.
