Taylan Bozkurt

Taylan Bozkurt, MBA, FACHE has an extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Taylan currently serves as the President and CEO of MEDRVA Healthcare, a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Richmond, Virginia. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America (BRCA), including CTO, VP of Operations and Security Officer, and Associate Chief Operating Officer and Director of Telemedicine. At BRCA, they focused on business development, streamlining operations, implementing new technology infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Before joining BRCA, Taylan worked at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where they were the Program Manager for Episodic and International Initiatives at MGH TeleHealth. Taylan successfully launched several telehealth programs and improved patient care delivery in various departments. Taylan also served as the Manager of Operations and Finance for the Department of Surgery at MGH, collaborating with directors and medical chiefs to enhance care delivery and financial efficiency.

Earlier in their career, Taylan worked at Solaya Energy, LLC & Lumus Construction, LLC, where they held the position of Controller and later Assistant Controller. Taylan worked closely with the President and CFO on financial management and strategic planning for multiple corporations and renewable energy projects.

Taylan's diverse work experience also includes roles at Stonehedge Inn and Spa, where they served as General Manager & Controller, Controller & Operations Manager, Director of Food and Beverage, and Director of Catering. Taylan oversaw the operations of a Four Diamond Inn and Restaurant, managed a large wine collection, and led international management teams.

Taylan Bozkurt, MBA, FACHE completed an Executive MBA program at Northeastern University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Syracuse University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing. Before their undergraduate studies, they studied at The Governor's Academy from 1993 to 1997. Taylan Bozkurt also attended Pike School from 1986 to 1993.
