Michel Verbist

Michel Verbist has over three decades of work experience in various leadership and management roles. Michel is currently the Chief Executive Officer at MedSat since February 2022. Before that, they served as the Director & Co-Founder of EUREKA21 GROUP PTE LTD, where they provided global business development and corporate finance advisory services.

From 2017 to 2021, Michel was the Director of Business Development at Speedcast, where they played a crucial role in driving business growth. Prior to that, they worked at Orange Business Services for more than 18 years, holding positions such as Head of Business Development Satellite Services, Product Management Satellite and Maritime Solutions, Account General Manager, and Account Management.

In the early stages of their career, Michel worked as an Area Sales Manager at Motorola and a Sales Manager Indirect Channels at Wang Computers. Michel began their professional journey at Telindus, where they gained experience in account management.

Throughout their extensive work experience, Michel has demonstrated a strong understanding of the information technology and satellite communication industry. Michel has expertise in areas such as technical consultancy, sales support, project management, risk assessment, due diligence, and strategic partnerships. Michel's work has had a global focus, with significant contributions made in the Far East, South and Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Michel Verbist completed their education from 1968 to 1980 at Sint Michiels College, where they pursued a degree in Wetenschappelijk A/Mathematics. Following this, they attended KIHDenayer from 1980 to 1984 and obtained a degree in Industrial Engineer Electro Mechanics with a specialization in Automation & Robotics.
