Tae-Young Nam currently serves as a Family Medicine Resident Physician at John Peter Smith Hospital since July 2022 and has been a USMLE Tutor with MedSchoolCoach since November 2020, focusing on enhancing content knowledge for aspiring medical professionals. Tae-Young completed medical education at The University of New Mexico School of Medicine from June 2017 to July 2022, with interests in Med-Peds and Family Medicine, aiming to integrate healthcare with food systems and community-based research. Prior to medical school, Tae-Young earned a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health from The University of New Mexico (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2009-2012). Tae-Young’s early career includes roles as a FoodCorps Service Member and a City Year Corps Member, focusing on food education and mentorship for children in educational settings.
