Brian Barrow

Brian Barrow has over a decade of professional work experience with a focus on software engineering and web development. Brian started their career as a Supply/Demand Planner in 2012 before transitioning to Demand Management Analyst and Replenishment Buyer roles at Overstock.com and Nicholas and Company. Brian then switched to web development and worked as a Contract Web Developer for The Tucker Brothers and a Developer for Signs.com where they added responsiveness and implemented Sass to the website, updated the HTML/CSS for NavBar to be responsive, and completed assigned tasks within a .NET MVC environment. In 2018, they briefly worked as a Workshop Instructor for Thinkful before starting work as a Software Engineer I at CHG Healthcare in 2019. After this, they joined Homie as a JavaScript Developer and Deepgram as a Developer Experience Engineer where they worked until 2023. Currently, Brian is working as a Senior Software Engineer at MedShift.

Brian Barrow has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management-Supply Chain from Brigham Young University - Idaho, which they obtained from 2006 to 2012. Brian then pursued computer software engineering at freeCodeCamp from 2015 to 2017. Brian also completed a Front End Web Development Bootcamp in Full Stack Web Development at Thinkful from 2016 to 2017.
