İlkiz Alp has held a variety of roles in the finance and operations field over the past two decades. In 2001, they began their career as an intern at Novartis Turkey before joining Pfizer Turkey as a Senior Business Finance Specialist, Pfizer Global Manufacturing Finance Specialist, and Cash Operations Specialist. In 2008, they joined Mey Icki - Texas Pacific Group as a Financial Analyses Assistant Manager. In 2009, they moved to British American Tobacco Turkey as a Marketing Finance Manager and Resources. In 2016, they became the Finance Manager at Air Trade Centre Turkey - SIG Air Handling Group, followed by a role as Head of Finance and Operations at TwoStone, LLC. in 2018. In 2019, they joined Nicholson International Turkey as a Partner, and in 2020 they became a Partner at both Ageo International and InterSearch. Currently, they are the Turkey Operations Manager at Medsien.

İlkiz Alp's education history includes a Stanford LEAD Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Corporate Innovation and Change Management (2015-2016), an EMBA from Bogaziçi Üniversitesi in Executive MBA (2003-2004), a BA from Bogaziçi Üniversitesi in Business Administration (1997-2001), and a Valedictorian from PRIVATE KÜLTÜR HIGH SCHOOL in Turkish-Maths (1990-1997).
