Umesh Kaushik

Umesh Kaushik has extensive experience in the field of biomedical research and manufacturing. Umesh'smost recent position was as the Head of the Research Development Department at Medsource Ozone Biomedicals Pvt. Ltd. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing research and development activities.

Prior to this, Umesh served as the Director of Technical Services at Oscar Medicare Pvt Ltd for a decade. There, they managed day-to-day manufacturing activities of various medical reagents and was also involved in licensing, regulatory approvals, and business expansion in the APAC and EMEA markets.

Before joining Oscar Medicare, Umesh held the position of Head of Manufacturing at Rapid Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd. Here, they played a key role in setting up the manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with ISO:9001 standards, and obtaining regulatory approvals.

Earlier in their career, Umesh worked at Nano BioTech Research as an Operations Manager, where they were involved in regulatory approvals and the development of rapid tests for various medical conditions. Umesh also worked as a Manager at ACE Diagnostics, where they played a pivotal role in the manufacturing of the Liposomal slide agglutination test for the detection of Syphilis.

Umesh's career in the biomedical industry began at Lupin India as a Research Development Executive. During their time there, they contributed to the development of various IVD kits and immunological reagents, including India's first pregnancy test and a dipstick dot test for the detection of S.

Umesh Kaushik completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Rajasthan from 1986 to 1989. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, graduating in 1991.
