Michael Cheung

Michael Cheung, CFA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Treasury at MedStar Health, where responsibilities include managing diverse portfolios exceeding $5.5 billion, developing asset allocation strategies, and overseeing corporate cash management. Previously, Michael held the position of Managing Director at the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System, managing a $15.0 billion portfolio and leading risk analytics initiatives. Michael's extensive experience also includes roles at Keel Point Advisors, LLC, John Hancock Financial Network, and Chevy Chase Financial Services, where skills in investment analysis and portfolio management were honed. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from Colgate University.
