Pete Rizzo, PMP has over 25 years of experience in the IT field. Pete began their career in 1992 as a Consultant for Wal-Mart. In 1997, they worked as a Senior Manager for Spectrum Consulting and a Senior IT Manager for Maximus, Inc. In 2000, they became a Project Manager for Dell Computer Corporation. In 2001, they were an Engagement Manager for Veritas. From 2002 to 2017, they were a Senior IT Resource Manager/Director of Infrastructure and Operations for Tarrant County, where they directed a staff of 100 and presented to senior County leadership. From 2014 to 2017, they worked for AIG as a Business Analyst/Operational Readiness Audits Manager and Customer Relationship Manager-Consultant for Modis. During this time, they collaborated with the CTO to transform a UAT lifecycle server program and introduced a leadership communication plan. In 2017, they became an Information Technology Director and IT Manager for MedStar Mobile Healthcare.

Pete Rizzo, PMP has an extensive education history. In 2003, they obtained an Advanced Master's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Tarrant County College, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.). In 2015, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University. Additionally, they have obtained a variety of certifications, including a PMP from the Project Management Institute in March 2015, a Learn Python 3 Course and Scan Systems with Nmap Skill Path from Codecademy in January 2023, a COBIT 5 Foundation Certification from ISACA, a Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) from INFORMATION SYSTEMS EXAMINATIONS BOARD LIMITED, and a Microsoft Certified System Engineer from Microsoft.
